Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables covering the injection season are included in the attachment. The EIA reported a +55 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was -6 bcf lower than our estimate and -5 bcf lower than the Bloomberg median. Once again South Central non-salts were our undoing, coming in 5 bcf below our estimate. The EIA reported a +65 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was +10 bcf higher than our estimate and +8 bcf higher than the Bloomberg median. Our large miss this week was almost entirely in the South Central region with salts drawing 6 bcf less than we expected and non-salts injecting 3 bcf more than we expected. Our early estimate for next week’s number is an injection around the mid-60 bcf mark. After a two week reprieve, non-salts returned to builds in excess of 5-year highs.....

The EIA reported a +36 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was in line with both our estimate and the Bloomberg median. Regionally, our largest misses were in the South Central and Midwest again. Overestimates of net South Central draws fortunately offset overestimates for Midwest builds. Our early estimate for next week’s number is an injection close to the 50 bcf mark. At the start of the summer, low inventories in California storage pools and ongoing constraints at the Topo.....

The EIA reported a +62 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was 3 bcf lower than our estimate and 7 bcf below the Bloomberg median. Regionally, our largest misses were in the South Central and Midwest, as we underestimated pulls from South Central salts while also underestimating builds in the Midwest. The build was +5 bcf higher than our estimate and +5 bcf higher than the Bloomberg median. Our largest misses regionally were in the East and South Central non-salts, with both reporting stronger builds than our models expected. Due to independent rounding, the individual regions totaled 100 bcf this week, making a region-by-region comparison more difficult; nonetheless the South Central accounted for the largest portion of our miss this week…

The EIA reported a +115 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was +7 bcf higher than our estimate and +11 bcf higher than the Bloomberg median. Due to independent rounding, the regions totaled 113 bcf making it tricky to properly compare regional misses, despite this, our largest miss was in the South Central, specifically salt cavern storage. The higher than expected injection into Eastern storage is likely partially attributable to an overestimate of power burns in the region. T.....

The EIA reported a +119 bcf increase in inventories this week. The build was +8 bcf higher than our estimate and +10 bcf above the Bloomberg median. While the Mountain and Pacific regions saw stronger than expected builds, South Central non-salt injections were again our largest miss.
