EIA reported a +28 bcf injection for the week ended August 31 (Bloomberg median +33 bcf, Bloomberg Whisper +29 bcf). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +24 bcf to +50 bcf with a standard deviation of 6 bcf. Our model showed +26 bcf. Nationwide cooling degree days reported by NOAA increased to 70 CDDs from 56 CDDs the prior week. Nationwide HDDs dropped from 5 HDDs to 1 HDD the prior week. The 24 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from +53 bcf to +74 bcf with a standard deviation of 4 bcf. Our model showed +67 bcf. Nationwide cooling degree days reported by NOAA decreased to 56 CDDs from 74 CDDs the prior week.
